The first and best medical dispensary visit of my life

I say “Best and first medical dispensary” a bit tongue in cheek – The only other dispensary experiences I have are at Lume in Michigan and Planet 13 in Vegas which are on vastly different sides of the marijuana pricing spectrum (Planet 13 is very expensive and Lume is very cheap). Utilizing their daily discounts, pricing was pretty reasonable at Verilife. See below for their current discounts and deals.

Experience – 7/10

I could really see this dispensary taking off – It is conveniently located, less popular than other local dispensaries (Sunnyside down the road had a 30 minute wait the day I visited), had knowledgeable staff and materials on site and it was super quick to get in and out. Unfortunately they couldn’t find the product that I ordered behind the counter so that added a bit of a delay but I am sure this will be ironed out in the future.

Recommend to others – 8.1/10

Convenient parking and location, knowledgeable staff, learning materials, clean finish. Highly recommended for a first time dispensary-goer!

Verilife Cincinnati was the first medical marijuana dispensary within the 275 loop.Verilife is owned by PharmaCann, a Chicago based cannabis company. They have dispensaries in 6 states including Ohio, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania.

Located just off exit 8 on i71 on Ridge Ave, Verilife is very conveniently located for commuters to stop by in Cincinnati. Truth be told, I planned to do a review of the Sunnyside dispensary located right down the road but when I walked in they had about 45 people lined up in turnstiles to the door so I decided I will revisit that one another day.

PARKING:

Parking at Verilife was incredibly convenient. The shop is part of a bigger lot/shopping center with Lowe’s and other various retailers off of Ridge Avenue. Getting in and out was a breeze.

WAIT:

The queue on arrival was non-existent. I visited the dispensary at 5:30pm on a Tuesday evening and there was just 1 other person waiting in line with two workers at the front desk. I had to fill out an information sheet with my info and medical card, wait a bit for them to input into the computer and then they let me into the back back room within 10 minutes of arrival.

SERVICE:

Staff at both the front desk and inside the back room were incredibly knowledgeable about everything to do with their product – besides inventory. When you finally get into the back room, there are educational materials lined up against the wall to read as you wait for an attendant calls you to the counter. Someone was waiting for me as I walked in the room.

When you arrive at the counter, they give you an iPad with all of their products. The attendant I had was knowledgeable about almost every stand and brand that I showed interest in. I finally decided on the product I would like (Live-resin carts for the win) and my attendant went back to grab it for me and… they couldn’t find it. Apparently live-resin products were stored different than carts, not exactly sure the issue, but I spent about 15 minutes waiting as the employees rummaged through the back shelves and finally decided they do not have that product on hand.

Not getting the product I wanted was a bit disappointing and the only thing holding me back from a rave review. Seems to me they just have some issues to work out with their product app and inventory system.

Overall I had a decent experience and it could have been much better had they had my product ready and available – I was almost in and out within 15 minutes. Right now it seems a bit less popular than Sunnyside down the road, so keep an eye out for that review coming in the next couple weeks!
